Design details:



Made for companies to calibrate machines etc, the reverse was designed by Christopher Ironside from the 1970 medal to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the sailing of the pilgrim fathers in the Mayflower. The trial packs were made and sold in 1998 the very first to be offered to collectors. The ship on the reverse is of course the Mayflower and was also featured on the 2020 £2 designed by Chris Costello. The pack is quite expensive to purchase now and some have missing pieces.
