Design details: 06/06/18 Found in change in Caerphilly in south Wales, what looked to be a circulated version of the coin, how it found it's way into the 'wild' is still a mystery. At least 10 are for sale on eBay now as well is the coloured silver proof version, the RM still hasn't released it on their website.
2018 sees the 6oth Anniversary of the much loved children's character Paddington Bear. He first appeared on 13 October 1958 in the children's book A Bear Called Paddington and has been featured in more than twenty books written by British author Thomas Michael Bond CBE (13 January 1926 – 27 June 2017), who wrote under the pen name Michael Bond. The coin is designed by Dave Knapton a graphic designer, Dave has designed many Royal Mint coin packs.
