Design details
2019 sees the 50th anniversary of the 7 sided coin, this is a special issue with a mint mark and letters around the rim. It is focusing on the science behind the design and is also available as a 'strike your own coin' at the Royal Mint experience for a limited time. A gold proof and a gold proof piedfort version as well as the same in silver were available to buy.
